Awarded pupils visited the Serbian House and Vido island
On the third day of stay in the church camp of Metropolitanate of Corfu the awarded pupils in the contest We Are Their Descendats organized by Svetosavsko Zvonce visited the Serbian House in the center of Corfu, the Blue cemetary at the Vido island, a church of Saint Spiridonos in the city and attended the welcome reception of the Metropolitanat of Corfu at the building of the Church municipality.
During the visit to the Serbian House the pupils were greeted by Mr. Spiros Mastoras, the honorary consul of the Republic of Serbia in Corfu. The museum custodian Mr. Ljubomir Saramandic told pupils in detail about historical events on coming of the Serbs and their stay on Corfu during the First World War. The pupils performed a nice musical programme outside in the front of the church.

In the church of Saint Spiridonos, the protector of the island, the pupils was received by the head of the church with the brotherhood.
Socializing with the children from Corfu was organized on the premises of the Metropolitanate of Corfu with mutual cultural and art programme. On the behalf of the host, His Eminence Metropolitan Nectarios of Corfu, who is in Kazakhstan at the moment, the pupils were greeted by father Temistocles Murtsanos, who was very joyful and pleased that the Metropolitante had an opportunity to be the host to the Orthodox brothers from Serbia.
