Baron Tiesenhausen receives Patriarchal award

On 7 December 2014, after the Divine Liturgy celebrated at the Cathedral of Three Saint Doctors in Paris, Bishop Nestor of Korsun handed over to Baron Tiesenhausen an award from His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia – the Order of the Holy and Right-believing Prince Daniel of Moscow, 2nd class.

A well-known figure in the Russian émigré community received the award in consideration of his long work for the of Russian Orthodox tradition in Western Europe and in connection with his 80th birthday.
