The biggest bell in Milesevo
The biggest bell in Serbia was consecrated in Milesevo at the Liturgy in the monastery of Milesevo, which was served by Serbian Patriarch irinej with bishops of the Serbian and the Russian Orthodox Church. The Diocese of Milesevo for the first time gave an Order "White Angel".
At the Liturgy in the monastery of Milesevo, which was served by Serbian Patriarch Irinej with bishops of the Serbian and the Russian Orthodox Church, the biggest bell in Serbia was consecrated. The bell, on the occasion of the eight centuries of Milesevo, was given as a gift by the Russian businessman Andrei Kozitsyn.
The event on the occasion of the founder's slava of Milesevo, the feast day of St. King Vladislav, was attended by many bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government Ivica Dacic, the Russian ambassador Aleksander Konuzin, and many other representatives of cultural and public life of Serbia..
Regarding the consecration of the nine-ton bell and forthcoming jubilee, the Diocese of Milesevo established the Order "White Angel" which was given to Patriarch Irinej.
With the same order Metropolitan Nikolaj of Dabrobosna, Bishop Vasilije of Zvornik-Tuzla, Bishop Irinej of Backa and Bishop Pahomije of Vranje were honored.
