Bishop Arsenije serves in Leskovac

On Friday, 26 February 2021, on the feast day of Venerable Simeon the Myrrh-Gusher, His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Nis served the Holy Liturgy in the church dedicated to this saint in Leskovac.

The Bishop was concelebrated by clergy of the Diocesan Deanery. Before the beginning of the Holy Liturgy His Grace ordained graduate theologians from Leskovac Mr. Pavle Mihajlovic and Mr. Filip Cakic to the rank of reader.

After the prayer, His Grace blessed slava gifts and cut the slava cake, and then congratulated the feast day to the clergy and the faithful people.

During the afternoon His Grace visited the church of Holy Prophet Elijah in the parish of Penjevac of the Leskovac Deanery.
