Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina meets with Reis-Ul-Ulema Husein ef. Kavazovic

His Grace Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and the Littoral met with Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazovic of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday, 23 April 2013 in Sarajevo.

Bishop Grigorije and Reis Kavazovic agreed that the time has come for new and better relations among churches and religious communities in BiH, so the positive examples of the mutual cooperation should be the way one ought to take, and that the possible issues should be solved in the spirit of faith and in good manner, always understanding each other.

The dignitaries of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina pointed out that the Orthodox and Muslim world has always lived one beside the other, not only through history but also today and that is the basis on which the cooperation could realize in the benefit of both sides.

They led and open and friendly discussion regarding religious and inter-religious topics at the office of Reis Kavazovic.

Bishop Grigorije congratulated Reis Kavazovic on his election.
