Bishop Irinej visited Melbourn last weekend

His Grace Bishop Irinej of Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand visited last weekend Melbourn, the capital of Victoria. After his speech on Friday at the protest of the Coptic Orthodox Church at the Federation Square, next morning, on All Souls' Day, the Bishop served the requiem service in the church of St. Sava in the monastery of Elaine.
With the concelebration of the monastery brothers the Bishop at the end of the Liturgy served a memorial service for all who are buried at the great monastery cemetary.
On Sunday, November 6, 2011 the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served in the church of St. Basil of Ostrog in Melbourn's suburb of Langwarrin. He was concelebrated by local priests.
