Bishop Irinej visits botth churches of St. Sava in Adelaide
On Saturday, November 26, 2011 on the feast day of St. John Chrysostom, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand visited the parish St. Sava in Hindmarsh.
In the Church full of believers Bishop Irinej held the Liturgy and was concelebrated by local priests.
Within the Holy Liturgy a forty-day memorial service was served for protopresbyter-staurophor Slavko Kasikovic of blessed repose who faithfully had served the Church of Christ and Its Flock in this Holy Church.
Since our Church in Adelaide has two churches devoted to St. Sava, the Serbian enlightener, then the Holy Liturgy on Sunday, on the feast day of St. Phillip the Apostle was served in the second church at Woodville Park.
