Bishop Jovan of Lipljan in Holy Land

His Grace Bishop Jovan of Lipljan, vicar of the Serbian Patriarch in the Patriarchate of Pec, during his study visit in the Holy Land visited on the feast day of St. Stephen of Decani, on Thursday November 4, 2011 His Beatitude Patriarch Teophile III of Jerusalem, accompanied by colonel Rasa Lazovic, envoy of the Defense in Izrael and Dr Krinka Vidakovic-Petrov, former ambassador of our country in Izrael.

Since the opening of our military mission in Izrael, it has been a custom that our envoy represent himself to His Beatitude, so it was also this time. In the night between Saturday and Sunday, on November 26/27, 2011, Bishop Jovan of Lipljan along with Archbishop Dorotheos of Aphila from the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and  Bishop Inocentius of Usoria of the Moscow Patriarchate and twenty priests and deacons, served the Divine Liturgy on the grave of the Lord.
