Bishop Konstantine serves in Achen

On the occasion of the parish slava, the feast of the Holy Ascension of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Konstantine of Middle Europe served on Sunday, May 27, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Achen. His Grace was concelebrated by local priests. After the Holy Liturgy the slava cake was cut and the slava wheat was blessed along with the solemn procession around the church.
The church municipality and parish with the seat in Achen were established in 1988 from the Church municipality and the parish in Dusseldorf. The Achen church municipality belongs to the Episcopal Deanery for North Rhine-Westphalia.
