Bishop Maxim visits Kosovo and Metohija

His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Ras and Prizren welcomed His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America at Gracanica Monastery during his visit to Kosovo and Metohija April 2-3, 2016.

The brother hierarchs attended Vespers at the Gracanica monastery church after which they spent time in conversation with the faithful and sisterhood of this holy monastery.

On Sunday, April 3, 2016, His Grace Bishop Maxim celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Gracanica Monastery, concelebrating with His Grace were the monastery clergy Protopresbyter Svetislav Trajkovic, Protopresbyter Savo Smigic, Father Branislav Sekulic, Protodeacon Zoran Godjevac and Deacon Branislav Denic.

Following liturgy Bishop Maxim visited "Sarski Odred" Elementary School in Sevac where he delivered monetary aid from the Kolo Sestara from California for 135 children.

Later, His Grace visited the Prizren Seminary and the Monasteyr of the Holy Archangels in Prizren.
