Bishop Mitrophan: To all Clergy of the Eastern American Dicoese

We are planning another clergy seminar again this year to be held at Shadeland on November 9-10, 2011. The featured speaker is Archimandrite Demetrios Carellas, Chaplain for the Nativity of the Theotokos Monastery in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. Archimandrite Demetrios will speak on contemporary issues in today’s society. Vespers will be held on Wednesday evening, November 9 at 6:00 PM. An evening meal will be served.

The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 8:00 AM on Thursday morning. The presentation by Father Demetrios will follow the Divine Liturgy. The seminar will conclude with lunch.

Shadeland is beautiful at this time of the year. We will have the opportunity to use the newly consecrated church.

You will need to bring pillows and bed sheets and blankets as well as towels.

Plan to arrive prior to Vespers on Wednesday and to stay for the entire period.

The Eastern Region Kolo Federation will be preparing the meals. Please inform Father Rodney Torbic as soon as possible of your plans to attend.
