Bishop Teodosije: Patience, peace and dignity are the most powerful weapon

Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren called today on the barricades in Rudar the Serbian people to patience, peace and dignity, stating that it was a weapon against which the strongest powers cannot do anything.

"We must save dignity, patience and peace, because against that weapon the strongest powers cannot do anything. It is the weapon of the church, and people is part of the church", the Bishop said before several hundreds of Serbs who also today gathered at the barricades in a town of Rudare. The Bishop estimated that " the strongest weapon of the Serbian people is faith and hope that all will be solved in the best day.

"Those, who are on the other side and who would like to see this people in some other light, are surely surprised, because it does not react to their provocations", the Bishop said. Besides the Bishop, also the priests of the Diocese of Raska-Prizren visited the Serbs on the barricades, who gave icons of  Theotokos to the gathered people. О

After the decision of Pristina's authorities to seize the border crossings on the north of Kosovo and to send there special forces of Kosovo police ROSU, the Serbs from this part of the Province put the barricades in order to prevent the passage to the border crossings Brnjak and Jarinje.
