Blessing of bells and crosses of the New Belgrade church of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Gushing

 
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Gushing at New Belgrade. On this occasion Serbian Patriarch blessed the bells and crosses which were donated by pious families: Starcevic, Malbasic, Rebrenovic, Trifkovic and Petrovic. 

To the contributors of this holy church, His Holiness presented letters of appreciation.
With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch regular services in the church of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Gushing at New Belgrade, in the block 26 (between the Palace of Serbia and Belgrade Arena), began on Christmas Eve of this year. The priests of this church on feast days and on Sunday serve the Holy Liturgy with a beginning at 9:00, everyday matin at 8:30 and the vigil service at 17:00. 
The five-domed church of St. Symeon the Myrrh-Streaming in New Belgrade with a n area of five hundred square meters. When it completes it will be one of the most beautiful Belgrade's churches. Foundations of this church was consecrated by Patriarch Pavle of blessed repose in 2007.
