Celebration of Greek national holiday in Belgrade

His Grace Bishop Irinej of Bachka, in the presence of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej and His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, served today in the Patriarchate chapel in Belgrade, on the feast day of Annunciation after the new calendar, thanksgiving on the occasion of the Greek national holiday - Liberation day from the Turkish servitude and the remembrance on the liberation uprisings from 1821. The Thanksigiving was attended by His Excellency Ambassador of Greece Mr. Dimostenis Stoilis and respected representatives of the diplomatic cord, the Association of the Serbian-Greek friendship and the Greek community in Serbia.
