Celebration of the Resurrection of Christ in Karlovac

The Feast-day of the Resurrection of Christ was celebrated with the solemn Liturgy in the Cathedral church of Saint Nicholas of Myra in Karlovac, being officiated by His Grace Bishop Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac with the concelebration of local priests.

The Paschal Encyclical of the Serbian Patriarch and all the Hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church addressed to all the clergy, monastics, and all the sons and daughters of our Holy Church, wishing them grace, mercy and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, was read by protopresbyter-staurophor Milidrag Stokanovic.

His Grace Bishop Gerasim congratulated the congregation the greatest Christian feast-day, wishing them every divine blessing from the Risen Lord and Our Saviour Jesus Christ, who destroyed death by death granting eternal life those in the graves.
