Celebration of Saint Sava’s feast-day in Banja Luka

His Grace Bishop Jefrem of Banjaluka served, on the occasion of the feast-day of Saint Sava, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral church of Christ the Saviour in Banja Luka.

After the Holy Liturgy, there was a rite of blessing and cutting the slava cake. The young ones received some gifts. The feast-day of Saint Sava was celebrated throughout Banjaluka – in schools, with solemn performances and slava rites as well as at the Cultural Centre of Banski Dvor where a traditional Saint Sava Academy was held.

The solemn academy was attended by Mayor of Banja Luka Igor Radojicic, Director of the Secretariat of the Republic for Faiths Dragan Davidovic, clergy of the Diocese of Banja Luka, guests from the public life of Srpska and many citizens.
