Celebration of St. John the Theologian at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade

On the occasion of the Patron Saint's Day of students of the Faculty of the Orthodox Theology of the University in Belgrade in the side chapel of St. John the Theologian in this highest educational institution of the Serbian Orthodox Church, on Friday  May 20/7 2011, all-night vesper service was served with the concelebration of many bishops of our Holy Church: His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje kyr kyr Jovan and Their Graces Bishops - Irinej of Backa, dean of the Faculty; Pahomije of Vranje; Maksim of Western-America; Marko of Bregalnica and David of Stobi.

The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy, which began on midnight, was served by His Grace Bishop Maksim of Western America with the concelebration of priests and deacons.

On Saturday, May 21/8 at 12am with the blessing of the dean of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology - His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa, protopresbyter-staurophor Dr Radovan Bigovic, Vice Dean of the Faculty, with the concelebration of many priests, deacons, professors, students and believers, blessed the wheat and cut the slava cake. Following this,  father Radovan Bigovic congratulated the Patron Saint's Day to professors and students of the Faculty and handed diplomas to students which had graduated in recent period.
