Celebration of Theodore's Saturday at Belgrade Seminary

On a day when our Holy Church prayerfully remembers  St. Theodor of Komogovo, at the churches of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac  Holy Liturgies were served during which a large number of people partook of the Holy Bread. Particularly formal was in the Belgrade Seminary of St. Sava, where with the blessing and on behalf of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno served Holy Hierarchal Liturgy. Bishop administered the sacrament to professors, theologians, academicians and all the present friends of the Belgrade Seminary.

His Grace served with the concelebration of protopresbyter-staurophors Stevan Vlacic, Dr. Dragan Protic, rector of Seminary; hieromonk Petar (Kracun), spiritual father and confessor in the Seminary; protodeacon Milan Kovacevic.

His Grace Bishop on behalf of Patriarch of Serbia thanked all for cordial welcome, and in his homily drew attention of students to the time we live in was full of various temptations so they should stay away from any seed of evil,  and  develop virtues and  prepare for that service the Great God had prepared in the Church comparing with virtues of soldiers wordly and Heavenly.

After Holy Liturgy, rector Dr. Dragan Protic, on behalf of all students and professors, greeted His Grace Bishop with worm words of thanks and welcome, as well as academician Mr. Dimitrije Stefanovic.
