Centuries-long connections between Serbian and Russian people

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch came upon the invitation of Dr Miroslav Perisic, managing director of the Archives of Serbia and held a welcoming speech in front of the present at the promotion of the second volume of the book Moscow - Serbia, Belgrade - Russia 1804-1878.   

It's about a book which result of the joint research of the Archives of Serbia and the Main Archival Administration of the City of Moscow, and includes documents from the Russian archives and the archives in Serbia. 

Following His Holiness, Mr. Predrag Markovic, Minister of Culture in the Government of Serbia spoke as well as Mr. Trivo Indjic, adviser to the President of the Republic of Serbia; His Excellency Aleksander Vasiljevich Konuzin, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation; Mr. Miroslav Jovanovic, professor of the Faculty of the Philosophy in Belgrade; Mr. Mihailo Mihailovich Gorinov, representative of the Main archival administration of the City of Moscow and Mr. Miroslav Perisic, the managing director of the Archives of Serbia.
