Christ is Risen! Indeed He Is Risen!

The feast day of the Ressurection of the Lord was celebrated in all dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Australia – On Great Friday, April 13, 2012 His Grace Bishop Irinej served in the church of St. George in Sidney's suburb of Cabramatta. At the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy on Great and Holy Saturday in Sidney's churchof St. Prince Lazar, His Grace Bishop Irinej performed  Mysteries of Baptism and Charismation for seven souls.

Metropolitanate of Dabrobosna – Metropolitan Nikolaj of Dabrobosna served the Easter Liturgy in Cathedral church of the Nativity of Most Holy Theotokos in Sarajevo. On Easter Monday, Metropolitan Nikolaj served the Divine Liturgy in the church of St. Apostle Elijah at Sokolac, while on Easter Thuesday he served the Liturgy in Holy Trinity church in Rogatica.

Zagreb - On Great Friday Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana served the eveninig service in Cathedral church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Zagreb. On Easter, Metropolitan Jovan served the Liturgy in Zagreb's Cathedral church of the Transfiguration of the Lord which was too small to receive all the faithful.

Цетиње - Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral on Easter in early morning hours led the holiday procession which went through the streets of Cetinje and later in Cetinje's monastery served the Easter morning service with priests and believers. On Easter Monday Metropolitan Amfilohije served in Kom monastery at the Skadar lake and on Easter Thuesday in the monastery of Duga Moracka.

Podgorica - Мetropolitan Amfilohije served the Easter Liturgy in Cathedral church of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica. The liturgy was attended by many thousand believers.

Banja Luka - His Grace Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka served the midnight Easter Divine Liturgy in Cathedral church of Christ the Saviour in Banja Luka.

Vienna - The Resurrection of the Lord was prayerfully celebrated in all three Serbian churches in Vienna. On the second day of the Lord's feast day, on April 16, 2012 in a new Vienna's church devoted to the Resurrection of Christ the church slava was solemnly celebrated. His Eminence Metropolitan Arsenios of Vienna and exarch of Austria and Hungary of the Patriarchate of Constantinople served the Liturgy with the concelebration of priests of Serbian, Russian and Romanian Orthodox Church.

Backa - On Great and Holy Saturday, active and retired priests of Novi Sad congratulated Bishop Irinej of Backa the feast day of the Resurrection of Christ. Many citizens of Novi Sad celebrated Easter joyfully in the church of Holy Great Martyr George where His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa served the Divine Liturgy. Bishop Irinej of Backa served in the church of St. George in Novi Sad a solemn paschal vesper service where feast day's chapter from the Gospel according to John was read in 18 languages.

Bosanski Petrovac - The Easter was solemnly celebrated in the church of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Bosanski Petrovac with the Holy Liturgy served by Bishop Hrizostom of Bihac-Petrovac. The Easter holidays were solemnly celebrated in all parishes.

Djurdjevi Stupovi - Његово Преосвештенство Епископ будимљанско-никшићки Г. Јоаникије служио је на Велику среду Свету тајну јелеосвећења у манастиру Ђурђеви Ступови. На Велики четвртак, током Свете Литургије у Ђурђевим Ступовима Епископу Јоаникују је саслуживао Епископ липљански Г. Јован, викар Патријарха српског.

Valjevo - The feast day of all feast days was most solemnly celebrated in the church of Most Holy Theotokos in Valjevo. The celebration began with the Holy  Liturgy at midnight served by His Grace Bishop Milutin of Valjevo.

Vranje – On Holy Wednesday, Bishop Pahomije of Vranje served the Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts in the monastery of St. Prohor of Pcinja.

Karlovac - On Holy Thursday in the monastery of Most Holy Three-Handed Theotokos the morning service with reading of twelve gospels was served. Bishop Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac served on Great Friday the vespers in the monastery of Most Holy Three-handed Theotokos in Donje Budacko.On Easter, Bishop Gerasim served the Divine Liturgy in the monastery of Most Holy Three-handed Theotokos in Donje Budacko.

Dalmatia - On Great Friday and Great Saturday His Grace Bishop Fotije of Dalmatia served the service of the Holy Week in the monastery of Krka. The greatest Christian holiday of the Resurrection of Christ was solemnly celebrated in all communities and monasteries of the Diocese of Dalmatia. Bishop Fotije of Dalmatia served the Divine Liturgy in the monastery of Krka with the concelebration of the monastery brotherhood.

California – His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America served the Easter Divine Liturgy in St. Stefan church in Alhambra.

Herzegovina - On Great and Holy Thursday Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina served the great vigil service in the church of Nativity of Most Holy Theotokos in Mostar. On Great Friday Bishop Grigorije served in Nevesinje and on Great Saturday in Gacko. On Easter Sunday the Cathedral church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Trebinje was too small to receieve all who came to celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord. Bishop Grigorije served the Holy Liturgy, while in the Old church in Mostar the Easter Liturgy was served by retired Bishop Atanasije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina. President of the Republic of Croatia Mr. Ivo Josipovic visited on April 16, 2012 the Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina in Mostar, where he was welcomed by Bishop Grigorije. President Josipovic also visited the construction yard of the Cathedral church of Holy Trinity and the Old Church. 

Bijeljina - His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Tuzla served the Easter Liturgy in the Memorial Cathedral church of Nativity of Most Holy Theotokos in Bijeljina.

Monroeville – Bishop Mitrophan of East America served the Easter Liturgy in St. Nicholas church in Monroeville.

Canada - His Grace Bishop George of Canada served the Easter Liturgy with the concelebration of local priests in the monastery of Holy Transfiguration in Milton.

Krusevac - On Great Saturday, Bishop David of Krusevac served the Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great in Lazarica church. On Easter at midnight Bishop David served the Paschal vigil service in the Cathedral church of St. George in Krusevac. On Easter morning the Bishop served the Easter Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom in Cathedral church of St. Great Martyr George. A great number of believers gathered then but the church had no lots of space. On Easter evening, in the Cathedral church the vesper service of Love was served during which the Gospel was read in many languages. 

Prijepolje – His Grace Bishop Filaret of Milesevo served the Easter Divine Liturgy in Mileseva monastery.

Nis - In the evening of Great Friday in the Cathedral church of Nis, the morning service was served by Bishop Jovan of Nis.

Frankfurt am Mein - His Grace Bishop Konstantin of Middle Europe celebrated the feast day of Resurrection of the Lord in the church community of Frankfurt am Mein. On Great Saturday His Grace served the  Divine Liturgy in the old church in Frankfurt while the Easter Liturgy he served in the new Frankfurt's church  with the concelebration of local priests.

Kosovo and Metohija - The celebration of Easter in monastery Gracanica began with the Easter morning service served by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren with the local priests. The central celebration of the Resurrection of Christ in Kosovo and Metohija was held at the church of St. Great Martyr Demetrius in Kosovska Mitrovica, where the Holy Liturgy was served by Bishop Teodosije of Raksa-Prizren.

Archbishopric of Ohrid – Tenth year in a row the faithful of the Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric Easter holidays awaits in the circumstances of the state of persecution on religious grounds.

Sumadija - In Cathedral church in Kragujevac at midnight the solemn Easter morning service began. Following the Easter morning service, Bishop Jovan of Sumadija served the Divine Liturgy with the concelebration of the brotherhood.
