Christmas of Slav-speaking faithful in Metropolis of Zambia

Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia celebrated the Christmas Divine Liturgy (Old Calendar) yesterday morning for the Slavic-speaking faithful living in Zambia, and for the Orthodox, either Serbs or Russians who were visiting Zambia at that time. The Divine Liturgy took place in the chapel of the Metropolitan Cathedral in Lusaka.

After reading the gospel, Metropolitan Ioannis read the Christmas message of Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria. Afterwards, he offered treats to the faithful at his official residence where he received all well-wishers on his name day.
