Church in Auckville celebrates its church slava

The feast day of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostles gathers each year  the Church of Christ in Auckville around the church raised in their honor. Also this year of the Lord St. Peter's Day was solemnly celebrated, at first with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy.

The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by Bishop Grigorije of Canada, with the concelebration of the head of the church protopresbyter Zlatibor Djurasevic and other priests.

After the Holy Liturgy  there was a procession around the church and the slava cake was cut with this years host Mr. Pera Zivkovic and handed over the slava cake cut to the next year's host Mr. Milan Mircic.

The celebration was continued with mutual table of love in the hall of the parish house.
