Church celebrated its Patron Saint’s day in Windsor

On Sunday, 11 November 2012, the Patron Saint’s day of the parish of Holy Great Martyr Demetrius in Windsor was solemnly celebrated. His Grace George, Bishop of Canada, celebrated the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy. The local church choir sang responses. Following the Holy Liturgy there was a solemn procession with the participation of many believers.
In the great hall of the church the slava cake and wheat were blessed. The members of the Circle of Serbian sisters generously prepared a wonderful festal meal for all attendees.
