A church consecrated at Ogar, Syrmium

Another in a series of pearls of  the Down Srem and of the Bishop’s  deanary  of Pecinci.

The church of the Translation of the Relics to the Holy Father Nicholas the Wonderworker  in Ogar, about 270 years old, welcomed a moment of its renewal and consecration.

On the day of the feast of the Holy Venerable Chariton the Confessor, October 11, 2020, a rite of small consecration of the church was performed and the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of the Translation of the relics of the Holy Father Nicholas in Ogar was celebrated  by His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Srem. His Grace was concelebrated by local clergy.
