Communique of Diocese of Raska-Prizren

The Orthodox Diocese of Raska-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija has proven information that monk of Crna Reka Antonije Davidovic, for whom the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church repeatedly asked to be punished for his church-destroying and non monk behavior, and who is now finally placed under the authority of the church body, currently is located in the areas of Orahovac and Velika Hoca, where he talk to people against Patriarch and the Church and brings doubt with numerous delusional stories, supposedly protecting Bishop Artemije. Davidovic in this way with these methods also seek a support for himself, because he is under the church procedure.

With the support of Dejan and Jovana Baljosevic * from Orahovac, who offered him a hospitality and help him in spreading messages of sectarian content over the Internet, Davidovic personally visits Serbian families in this region and spread the intrigue, and about what the Diocese was directly by several residents of Orahovac and Velika Hoca who are disturbed by the behavior of Davidovic and do not want to participate in its action against the ecclesiastical order.

We ask our faithful people of the areas of Orahovac and Prizren not to allow individuals of the sectarian and church-destroying behavior to spread distrust to their Patriarch and Church, because they are the people who thus destroy the spiritual and national unity that is needed by the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohia very much at this moment.

The monk Antonije acting was also very unbalanced in previous years and the Diocese has the testimonies of many Serbs from Orahovac and Velika Hoca who confirmed that in the hardest moments of suffering in 1999 exactly monk Antonije Davidovic encouraged them to leave Kosovo and Metohia, which they did not accepted and until today they have been living in their homes in Velika Hoca and Orahovac.

Brothers and sisters, Serbs in Orahovac, do not listen to those who spread discord in the people and create a schism in the Church!
