Consecration of the cross for the church of St. Eustathius of Serbia in Trepca near Andrijevica

His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic consecrated on Sunday, October 2, the cross which was then placed on the church of St. Eustathius of Serbia in the village of Trepca near Andrijevica.

His Grace Bishop held the rite of consecration with the concelebration of several priests of the hierarchal vicarage of Berane-Andrijevica and monks of the Monastery of Djrudjevi Stupovi, and a great number of local people were present during this event. Following consecration, Bishop Joanikije adressed the present with an appropriate sermon.

The foundations of the church of St. Eustathius of Serbia were consecrated on May 14 of this year. Nearby this location it used to be a church dedicated to St. Eustathius.
