Days of Slavic Literacy and Culture

This year in all dioceses of the Moscow Patriarchate, including the Outside, events and services will be organized on the occasion of the Days of Slavic Literacy and Culture. Hence Patriarch Kyrril of Moscow and All Russia issued a decree.

This holiday will be for the first time celebrated in Azerbaijan.

„In a country where is a high level of culture and tolerance, it was given a wide opportunity to celebrate Days of Slavic Literacy and Culture. Using this fact, we in Azerbaijan are obliged to celebrate this holiday in a way as it should.", said Ambassador of Russia in Baku, Mr. Vladimir Dorohin.
