Delegation of Hilandar Monastery in Moscow

Moscow, December 12, 2011 - Heugomen of the Holy Serbian Imperial Laura archimandrite Metodije and Bishop Antonije of Moravica met in Moscow with Nenad Popovic, the president of the ABC company, lecturer at the Moscow's Lomonosov University and the State Mining University and member of the parliament of the Republic of Serbia. The same day, the Hilandar delegation met at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate with deputy president of the DECR archpriest Nikolai Balashov.

Sankt Petersburg, December 13, 2011 - Governor of Sankt Petersburg Georgy Sergeyevich Poltavchenko recieved heugomen of the Hilandar Monastery archimandrite Metordije with the delegation in his residence at the Smolny Institute. The governor Poltavchenko is distinguished and active member of the Russian Athonite society which regularly visits and helps monasteries of Mt. Athos.
