Divine Liturgy in Cathedral Church in Sarajevo
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served the Divine Liturgy in the fulfilled church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Sarajevo, with the concelebration of Metropolitan Polycarp of Spain and Portugal, Metropolitan Seraphim of Zimbabwe and Angola, Metropolitan Seraphim of Germany and Middle Europe, Metropolitan Kyrill of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, Bishop Siluan of Gyula, Bishop Vasilije of Zvornik-Tuzla, BIshop Pahomije of Vranje, Bishop Sava of Slavonia and Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina.
The Divine Liturgy was attended by Their Eminences Metropolitans Nikolaj of Dabrobosna, Atanasius of Achaea, Their Graces Bishop Irinej of Backa and Andonios of Krujë.
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch addressed the faithful, saying that there was no peace in those who had no peace with God and which was a condition for the peace with others.
Representatives of the Catholic and Protestant church participated in the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral church in Sarajevo.
Upon the invitation of Serbian Patriarch the gathered were addressed by Archbishop of Vrhbosna Cardinal Vinko Puljic, who called all the Churches and religious communities to for mutual understanding and respect.
For all the esteemed guests, representatives of the diplomatic corps, international, political and public life in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbian the Metropolitanate of Dabrobosna hosted a reception in Sarajevo.
