Doxology at the Cathedral Church
Joyful rite of doxology in honour of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia celebrated at the Cathedral church of Saint Michael the Archangel in Belgrade
The doxology was celebrated by the clergy of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovac, and during this rite the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church was standing on the Patriarchal throne in prayerful attendance of Serbian Patriarch Irinej and many bishops of the Russian and Serbian Church, with other high guests.
The solemn doxology was attended by dear guests from the Russian Orthodox Church. The delegation of the sister Russian Orthodox Church, beside His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, consists of: His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Office for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate (DECR); Bishop Sergiy of Solnechnogorsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Administrative Secretariat; protopresbyters: Nikolay Balashov, DECR Vice-chairman ; Igor Jakimchuk, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations; Andrei Milkin, chief of the Patriarchal Protocol Service; as well as protodeacon Vladimir Nazarkin, Assistant to the President of the DECR; deacon Alexandar Volkov, head of the Patriarchal Press Service; and Mr. Vladimir Legoida, chairman of the Synodal Information Department of the Moscow Patriarchate.
Also many bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church participated prayerfully, among whom were: Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral, Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana; Bishops: Lavrentije of Sabac, Vasilije of Srem, Nikanor of Banat, Irinej of Backa, Hrizostom of Zvornik-Tuzla, Pahomije of Vranje, Jovan of Sumadija, Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic, Milutin of Valjevo, David of Krusevac, Vicar Bishops: Antonije of Moravica, Arsenije of Toplica and Jeronim of Yegar.
