Easter concert at Sava Center

Last night, on April 11, 2010 at the Sava Center in Belgrade, a remarkable event happened. For the first time the Easter concert was held under the patronage of  His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia. Before 3000 satisfied spectators 200 performers appeared: Children's choir Magic led by Leontina Pat, the First Belgrade Singing Society, Pavle Aksentijevic and Zapis group, Biljana Krstic and Bistrik and in the end, Sonja Chok.

Thanks to the great organization of the Religious charity guardianship of the Archbishop of Belgrade-Karlovac, heads of the Belgrade churches and faithful people of the Archbishopric Belgrade-Karlovac helped by buying the tickets for the concert, the Humanity Fund, the Vecernje Novosti fund for sick children. In this way they showed their Christian love and mercy toward those who we love most, and that are the sick children.

With this concert a tradition of holding Easter and Christmas concerts is established under the patronage of Patriarch of Serbia.
