Easter Liturgy in imperial Prizren

His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren served the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral church of St. George in Prizren.

Today in Prizren about hundred believers has gathered, mostly the remaining Serbs from Prizren and those who originate from this town so as to mark liturgically together with their Bishop the Resurrection of Christ for the first time since the 1999 war in the restored church of St. George. 

Following the Divine Liturgy and reading the epistle of His Holiness Patriarch and Bishops, Bishop Teodosije shared easter eggs to the present believers among which children were in majority. The Divine Liturgy in Prizren was attended also by international representatives: KFOR chief Andy Sparks, heads of Russian, German office as well as the chief of the German KFOR in Prizren. Bishop Teodosije congratulated Easter holidays which are celebrated on the same day throughout the Christian world.

In the afternoon hours Bishop Teodosije visited four old ladies in Djakovica, then also Monastery of Dechani where he congratulated holidays to fraternity and the guests. Following this he visited also monastery of Patriarchate of Pec and Gorioc monastery.
