Ecumenical Patriarch met the newly elected Armenian Patriarch

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew paid an official visit to the seat of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople in Kontoskalion, Constantinople, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, in order to congratulate the newly elected Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, Sahak Maşalyan, who was elected last week.

The Ecumenical Patriarch, accompanied by Great Protosyncellus Andreas, wholeheartedly wished the new Armenian Patriarch, on behalf of the Great Church of Christ, to have a good and long ministry for the benefit of his flock and offered him the archieratic engolpion.
