Eight centuries of the autocephaly of the Serbian Orthodox Church
Serbian Orthodox Church invites you to solemnly celebrate the great jubilee of the 800 anniversary of autocephaly:
- 6 October 2019 – Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Zica monastery beginning at 9 a.m.
- 7 October 2019 - visit to the Patriarchate of Pec and Kosovo and Metohija
- 8 October 2019 – a solemn academy in Sava Center beginning at 8 p.m.
- 9 October 2019 – opening of the exhibition of The Eight Centuries of Art under the auspices of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade beginning at 6 p.m.
On the occasion of the eight hundred years of autocephaly ouf our local Church the Information Service of the Serbian Orthodox Church prepared a special internet page dedicted to the great jubilee at the address:
