On the eve of his 70th anniversary the Primate of the Ukranian Orthodox Church visits Mount Athos

 His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine, accompanied by Bishop Eusebius of Hotin, Vicar of the Diocese of Chernovitsy-Bukovina, visited the Russian Monastery of Saint Pantaleon at Mount Athos on November 4^th, 2014.

Abbot of the monastery Archimandrite Jeremy (Alehinim) with the monastic brotherhood welcomed the Metropolitan at the gate of this monastery.

Following the service of God, Metropolitan Onufry awarded Archimandrite Jeremy with the highest distinction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Order of the Primate.
