Feast Day of Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas in Rakovica

 
The feast day of Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas was solemnly celebrated with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Belgrade suburb of Rakovica.

The Holy Liturgy was served by His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch with the concelebration of hierarchal deputy protopresbvter-staurophor Branko Mitrovic, presbyter Predrag Todorovic, protodeacon Tome Milanovic and Stevan Rapajic, and in the presence of hosts and guests.
 
After the cutting of slava cake, priests and people, led by the Patriarch, went in the procession around the Holy church praying the Lord for salvation of our Church and people from all trouble and anxiety for the health and welfare of residents Rakovica, Belgrade and all the world; as well as for the and for the repose of the soul of Orthodox Christians who have fallen asleep, the founders and contributors.
 
In the end there was a table of love, prepared by the host of the Patron Saint’s Day Milos Novakovic.
