Feast Day of Life-giving Font at Stauropegic monastery of St. John Chrysostom in Nizepolje
The Feast Day of Life-giving Font, which is the second slava of the monastery of St. John Chrysostom in Nizepolje was celebrated with the Divine Liturgy, , with the blessing of His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje kyr kyr Jovan, was served by Bishop David of Stobi with the concelebration of Bishop Marko of Bregalnica, priests of the Orthodox Archbishopric of Ohrid with the participation of the faithful people of Bitolj and surroundings.
This feast day was solemnly celebrated in the monastery of St. John Chrysostom, in the church which foundations were consecrated in September 2004 by Archbishop Jovan and Bishops of canonical Orthodox Churches of Greece, Bulgaria and R. Macedonia, which was only a month ago demolished by the authorities of R. Macedonia,because the schismatic MOC demanded it.
This persecution continued today fiercefully, which proves the fact that His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje kyr kyr Jovan is held in the prison againts the laws of the Republic of Macedonia, because at the court the fabricated political process against him is being led.
Following the Gospel reading, Bishop David addressed the faithful conveying the greetings and blessings of His Beatitude Archbishop Jovan. Blessing of waters was performed after the service.
