Feast day of Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God in Diocese of Backa

On 21 September 2013 when our Holy Church commemorates the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, the feast was prayerfully celebrated in the Diocese of Backa. 

Novi Sad - Parishioners of the Cathedral church of Holy Great Martyr George in Novi Sad, led by their Bishop, prayerfully celebrated the feast day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God. The celebration of the feast day began with solemn vigil service which was served by protopresbyter Stojan Bilic. On thethe feast day His Grace Bishop Irinej celebrated the Divine Liturgy and six presbyters and six deacons concelebrated. On this occasion the Bishop held a sermon.

Shangaj  - On Saturday, 21 September 2013, inhabitants of Novi Sad's suburb of Sangaj solemly celebrated the patronal feast day of their church - the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God. Presbyter Selimir Vagic, military priest, served the Holy Liturgy with the concelebration of the local priests.

Parage - Celebration of the feast day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God in Parage began with solem feast day's vigil service which was served by presbyter Slavko Protic. On the feast day protopresbyter-stavrophor Radoslav Zivanov served the Holy Liturgy in the presence of many believers.
