The Holy Martyr Triphon, protector of winemakers and winegrowers, was celebrated on February 14, 2020 with a solemn liturgical gathering in the monastery of Bukovo.
In the church of St. Nicholas of Myra, His Grace Bishop Ilarion of Timok officiated the Holy Liturgy with the concelebration of Archimandrite Cosmas, Archangel Simeon and hierodeacon Marko, while hieromonk Enoch and archdeacon Ilija sang responses . Dr. Vladimir Roganovic, director of the Office for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities, also participated prayerfully.
In his sermon, Bishop Ilarion of Timok first thanked Mr. Roganovic for his presence and expressed hope that the successful cooperation of the Diocese of Timok with the Office for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities will continue in the future.
After the Holy Liturgy, the faithful, led by the Bishop, the abbot and the brotherhood of the monastery, went in a liturgical procession to the monastery vineyard, where the act of blessing the vineyard was performed with the pruning of the vine.
