Feast of Saint Cosmas of Aitolia at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens

The memory of the New-Hieromartyr Cosmas of Aitolia, Equal of the Apostles, was celebrated solemnly in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the morning. Dozens of faithful went to the cathedral to attend the liturgy. The faithful could pay their respects to the relics of Saint Cosmas, which are kept in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens given by Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana and All Albania.

The Chief of the Church of Saint Barbara in Athens, Archim. Damaskinos Damianakis, officiated the Divine Liturgy. The faithful will be able to pay their respects to the sacred relic until Sunday noon.
