Feast of St. Sava celebrated in Belgrade

The feast of St. Sava was formally celebrated with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the church of St. Sava on Vracar in Belgrade. The Holy Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Petar of Cleveland with the concelebration of Bishop Mitrofan of Eastern America and Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, priests and deacons.

A large number of faithful people gathered at the Holy Liturgy to celebrate prayerfully St. Sava. According to the Gospel in a God-breathed homily, His Grace Bishop Mitrofan pointed to the life of this saint, which is important for the all Christian world. Following the slava cake cutting head of the church with his brotherhood prepared a plentiful table of love.
