Feast-day of Saint Great Martyr Demetrius solemnly celebrated in New Belgrade

His Holiness Kyr Irinej, Serbian Patriarch celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Saint Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessaloniki in New Belgrade.

Following the cutting of the slava cake, His Holiness addressed the guests and people.

Among the present guests there were Mr. Mileta Radojevic, Chief of the Office of the Government of Serbia for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities; Mr. Alexander Nikolayevich Konahinin, attaché for Culture and advisor to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation; Mr. Milan Divljak, the member of the Council of the Municipality of New Belgrade and Mr. Zoran Stamenkovic, the Secretary of the New Belgrade Assembly, as well as ambassadors of Algiers and Egypt.
