On 28 October 2017 the Missionary Parish of Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos welcomed its Bishop, who celebrated the Divine Liturgy and participated in an agape feast.

With the blessing of a competent Diocesan Bishop and cordial hospitality of the principal of the Cathedral church of Sts. Constantine and Helen – protopresbyter-staurophor Nicolaos Bakalis, a great friend of the Serbian people in Virginia, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was officiated in that church. Parishioners from various parts of Virginia – Richmond, Charlottesville, Newport News, Virginia Beach… participated in the prayer with their Bishop.

After the Gospel reading His Grace Bishop addressed the congregation exposing the saintly life of the Ven. Mother Parascevi-Petka, who was a great blessing for the Serbian people and for the whole humankind as well.

Following the Liturgy a lunch was prepared by the Circle of Serbian Sisters.
