First Vice President of the Government of Serbia visits Banjska Monastery
The first Vice President of the Government of Serbia Mr. Aleksandar Vucic visited Banjska Monastery and talked with Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren.
First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced yesterday, after having visited the monastery of Banjská near Zvečan, that the dialogue of Belgrade with the provisional authorities in Pristina would continue between 13 and 18 March. Vucic pointed out that Belgrade still insisted on the release of four Serbs who are in custody in Kosovo and reiterated that Serbia required from the international community to respect the basic human rights of our citizens.
Deputy Prime Minister Vucic has confirmed that the state of Serbia will provide assistance in the restoration of the monastery Banjska and expressed gratitude to Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren for everything he has done for the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as to the clergy of the Serbian Church in the southern province, who have played an important role towards the survival of our people at their centuries-long hearths.
