First World War and the Balkan knot

His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno attended yesterday an opening of the International Scientific Conference dedicated to political relations on the Balkans and Europe before the First World War. The theme of the conference was The First World War and the Balkan knot - the Balkans before the First World War.

Fifty scientists from Russia, USA, France, Japan, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia will represent their research results and try to answer the questions which are still actual even one hundred years after this events. The conference is held at the Senate of the National Assembly House from December 6-7, 2011.
