Formal end of the school year for Orthodox catechists in Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac
With the liturgical gathering in the church of St. Basil of Ostrog in Bezanija the school year of 2009/10 was prayerfully finished. The catechists of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac, led by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, the president of the Committee for the religious education and other members of this church body which follows and supports religious education in the state schools on the territory of the city of Belgrade, and in this way they thanked the God prayerfully for the successful work with children during the past year.
His Grace was concelebrated by: protopresbyter-staurophor Dr. Radomir Popovic, Professor of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade, Hierarchal head protopresbyter-staurophor Dragomir Ubiparovic, protopresbyter-staurophor Dusan Jovanovic, presbyters Aleksandar Lukic, Aleksandar Djakovac, Miroslav Colakovic, deacons Nemanja Radicevic, Oliver Subotic, Dragan S. Tanasijevic, Nikola Soldatovic, Darko Krstic and Vladislav Colic.
After the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy, there was a meeting with catechits. После Св. Архијерејске Литургије, одржан је састанак са катихетама. His Grace Bishop Atanasije in his speech reminded the catechits that they were required to continuously improve both in the field of the academic expertise, and in the field of the missionary activity of the Church.
