Foundations of the medieval church of St. Kyriaki undermined

The Diocese of Raska-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija reported today to the Kosovo police serious damage on the medieval church of St. Kyriaki in the suburb of Potkaljaja in Prizren. It is about the small church from 14th century which was damaged and in several occasion its lead from the roof was stolen. In the last case one Albanian, who is allegedly the owner of the lot, began with digging of the foundations for a new building, so he undermined the foundations of the church. Static is at risk and requires an urgent recovery. 

The Diocese reported this newest incident also to the EU Special Representative for Serbian spiritual and cultural heritage Mr. Dimitris Moshopoulos asking urgent  international reaction because it is the protected object and the area of the close historical zone of Prizren.
