The head of Iran's state delegation visited Serbian Patriarch
His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received on March 8, 2017 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade a high state delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by His Excellency Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chairman of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
His Excellency Mr. Allaeddin Boroujerdi expressed gratitude to the Head the Serbian Orthodox Church for the warm and friendly reception during which they talked, among other matters, about the life of the members and representatives of religious minorities in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Serbian Patriarch Irinej thanked His Excellency and the other members of the delegation for the visitas well as for the hand-embroidered canvas given to him as a recollection of this meeting, wishing them that love and peace should always reflect the life of all people in Iran and all over the world.

Hossein Molla Abdollahi Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Serbia; Seyed Mohsen Alavi and Heshmatollah Fellahat Pishe, members of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy of Iran, Gholamreza Hashem Zaie, a member of the local administration and self-government; Alireza Pishevar, advisor for international affairs; Djordje Kraljevic, Secretary of the Parliamentary friendship Group; Mohamad Javad Izadi, third Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Mohammad Karbalaei Hassan, third Secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Mohammad Reza Mottaghi, translator; Gordan Obradović from the Department for Protocol Affairs of the National Assembly; deacon Aleksandar Sekulic, an official in the Cabinet of the Serbian Patriarch; deacon Dragan Tanasijević, photographeof the Information Service of the Serbian Orthodox Church and deacon Dr. Aleksandar Praščević, an official of the Holy Synod.
