Hierarchal Divine Liturgy in Frankfurt

On the feast-day of Holy Three Hierarchs Serbian Patriarch Irinej celebrated in the church of the Resurrection of Christ in Frankfurt, Germany.

Lots of people from Frankfurt and surrounding areas attended the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy, which began at 9 a.m. His Holiness was concelebrated by archpriests Marko Jovanovic and Stojan Barjaktarevic, parish priests from Frankfurt; archpriest Bratislav Bozovic, parish priest of Stuttgart; protopriest Milenko Markovic, episcopal dean for South Africa; Simon Turkic, principal of the church in Frankfurt; Sinisa Vujasinovc from Osnabrueck.

After the sermon delivered by His Holiness, the principal of the church protopriest Simon Turkic  pointed out the historical significance not only for the Serbs living in Frankfurt, but for the whole Orthodoxy as well, that our  Patriarch celebrated in this city. As a small token of appreciation and gratitude of the Church board and the faithful, the Patriarch was presented by a pastoral staff and encolpion.
