This year’s feast of Kazan Icon of the Theotokos marked the 25th anniversary of His Eminence Vladimir’s arch-pastoral ordination.

On Monday, 21st July, His Eminence celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral of Chisinau, assisted by Moldovan clergy, praying for, and supported by numerous church-goers seeking spiritual food and elevation.

During the Service, the Metropolitan ordained deacon Pavel Robu into priesthood, and awarded the right to wear golden cross to priest Victor Cravet.

After the Divine Liturgy His Eminence officiate a Thanks-Giving Molieben and spoke to the believers who came to congratulate the Arch-Pastor of the Moldovan Orthodox Church.

The celebration of the 25th anniversary of His Eminence Vladimir’s Arch-pastoral service started on Sunday, 20th July, with the Divine Liturgy celebrated in the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral of Chisinau, celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, along with the bishops of the Orthodox Church of Moldova: Archbishop Sava of Tiraspol and Dubasari, Bishop Anatolie of Cahul and Comrat, Bishop Petru of Hincu and Nisporeni, Bishop Nicodim of Briceni and Edinet, as well as Bishop Ambrozie of Neftekamsk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Numerous priests and deacons assisted at the archpastoral service, in the presence of hundreds of church-goers who came to share the joy of the day.

Following the Sunday service, His Eminence Vladimir was congratulated by numerous monastics, clergy, state officials, public figures, and other church-goers.
